Beata Maria Rzepecka

Currently on show:

“Lucid Dreams” at Palazzo Bembo, Venice, Italy.

The captivating piece "Lucid Dreams" combines a unique fusion of classical and computational visual arts with generative music derived from heart rate variability signals. This extraordinary collaboration between Beata Maria and Fabrizio has been flourishing for several years, intertwining the realms of art, medical science, and computer science. Their awe-inspiring installations have graced prestigious exhibitions and science festivals, including remarkable collaborations with Queen Mary University of London, as well as charitable endeavors with Guy's and St Thomas' hospital. Exhibition visitors in London’s Notting Hill, Waterloo, and Picadilly Circus have all been enchanted by the duo's unique blend of interactivity and artistic vision. Notably, one of their installations was reviewed by The Pharmaceutical Journal, published by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

Now, for the very first time, their artistic journey leads them to Italy, specifically Venice, where they have crafted an intriguing masterpiece exclusively for the exhibition organized by ECC Italy at the illustrious Palazzo Bembo. In this remarkable endeavor, they have joined forces with the talented Melissa Budasz, known under the pseudonym "Masked Sphinx". Melissa's vast experience as an artist, curator and writer, outlined by her remarkable achievements in the art world, adds a unique touch to the project. She has generously contributed several paintings from her series entitled "Arousal of the Kundalini", that feature snake-like forms and skeletons fused with body parts and organs. These have been seamlessly woven into an extraordinary animation that breathes life into the enchanting world of "Lucid Dreams."
